My sister

Ezrosta Faison--Sister--Boobie is only 11 months older and we went through my whole school year in the same grade. She is loving, kind and strong. She was my support through school and my confidant. I could talk to her about any and everything. She was partner in crime. She also is my best friend. I LOVE her for that. Boobie remains important to me because we still depend on each other for support and remains my best friend.

Sister

Sherry Melvin--Sister-- My oldest sister has encourage me to go after whatever I want. She taught me that nothing is unattainable if I work hard enough and long enough. She has always been my best friend. I LOVE her for that. Sherry still encourages me in my adult life and remains by best friend.

Grandmother

Elnora Melvin--Grandmother--My grandmother is loving and strong. She possesses so many great characteristic. She was a major part of my up bringing and I am eternally grateful. I LOVE her for that. My grandmother still continues to show my and my children that grandmother love and wisdom.

Grandfather

James Melvin--Grandfather-- He was a great inspiration to me. He would always call me his "Super Star" and that made me feel special and I LOVE him for that. Although my grandfather has passed, my aunts and uncles still call me “Super Star” and refer to my daughter as a little “Super Star”.

My Father

Ezra Melvin--Father--He is the perfect father. He is a provider and the perfect example of a real man. He taught me what I should expect from my future husband. He treated us like we were the best thing that ever happens to him. He showed his love through his actions. I Love him for that. My father influences my life now because he is a father to my children.

My mother

Annie Melvin --Mother--My mother inspired me to be the best person that I could be. She is a loving, giving, inspiring, faithful and dedicated mother. She is strong, understanding and totally awesome. She is the perfect role model. I LOVE her for that. My mother impacts my life by helping me raise my children.
